This is my photographic response to this week’s photo challenge by The Daily Post. I like taking photos, especially for this type of challenge. I find it leads me to see the world differently. And seeing the world differently is something I always find enriching.
I walked into the kitchen one day to find that my son had arranged his “friends” like this. Certainly looks to me like Pooh and Tigger are buddies.

Love it! Tell your son I met the real Winnie the Pooh in New York recently – see my post here for photos: http://wheresmybackpack.com/2012/05/03/i-met-winnie-the-pooh/

That is awesome, Alisa! I’ll let him know. We’ll have to put that display on our list of things to see when we finally decide to brave New York City. My sister likes buying the kids the less Disney-looking Milne characters, which I, too, prefer, but these were from my mom. I’m doing my part by only introducing my kids to the original books rather than the Disney version. The audiobooks read by Peter Dennis are delightful, too.
Thanks for the comment!

Pooh stories are so beautiful. Where’s Eeyore, my favourite? Is he grumpy again somewhere?

Eeyore was always my favorite, too. I’m not sure where he’s hiding out in this picture, but he’s almost certainly despondent, wherever he is.

Thanks, Melanie! I think he’s sweet for sure, but I’m not always certain about “good.” But then, he’s not bad, either.
