This is my photographic response to this week’s photo challenge by The Daily Post. I like taking photos, especially for this type of challenge. I find it leads me to see the world differently. And seeing the world differently is something I always find enriching.
Dawn at the campground (Bear Creek Resort Ranch, East Sparta, Ohio).
In the first photo (taken about 20 minutes before the second and which really could have benefitted from a tripod), you can just make out the bats that were flitting about overhead. As I walked down the path, they darted quite close to my head, presumably going after the mosquitoes that had been attracted by the carbon dioxide I was exhaling.
It was thanks to my son and the chigger bites that caused him to sleep so restlessly that I was able to get up at dawn to take these photos.
The colors are great. Good frames too… cheers
