The Side-Effect Profile for Chocolate

I seem to be self-medicating with chocolate. I’ve been taking one bar of Chocolove Almonds and Sea Salt in Dark Chocolate a day for the past three days.

From what I can tell, it seems fairly effective in elevating my mood, but it’s not without side effects. The side effects include headache, dry mouth, and brownish marks on my computer keyboard. With excessive use, I experience nausea, weight gain, and jitters.

I just finished my last bar and I’m a little concerned that I might experience withdrawal symptoms if I don’t buy some more tomorrow.

    1. I used to love chocolate covered pretzels before the whole gluten thing. The sea salt and almonds are as close in flavor and texture to the pretzels that I’ve found. I have mixed feelings about having found this particular combination.
