This is my photographic response to a recent photo challenge by The Daily Post. I like taking photos, especially for this type of challenge. I find it leads me to see the world differently. And seeing the world differently is something I always find enriching.
We were hiking in the intermittent rain yesterday. We stopped by a stream during a break in the rain and this little moth just fluttered to rest on my jacket. It made me aware of how enormous I am to him/her.
And here’s another photo of the little guy. I had trouble getting him/her in really clear focus, so my husband took this photo.

That bug is a caddis. Trout eat them. They are an aquatic insect. Fly fisherman try and imitate them to catch a fish! They are harmless 🙂

Awesome! Thanks for identifying it for me, Heidi! It makes sense that it showed up near the stream/creek thing then! It was a sweet little buggy. I was happy to give it a ride for a little while.

The bug is so small, but if you are afraid of bugs, the size does not matter. I know the person here is Big compared to the bug. Nice photo and representation of “Big”.
