This is my photographic response to a recent photo challenge by The Daily Post. I like taking photos, especially for this type of challenge. I find it leads me to see the world differently. And seeing the world differently is something I always find enriching.
The assignment this week: post a photo that invites the viewer to look beyond.
And while I prefer to take photos specifically for each challenge, it’s been way too cold to go outside and take photos (I’m not going out in single (Fahrenheit) digits without gloves on, which is what I’d need to do to work my camera). So I’m posting some from when I was fooling around with this idea back when the weather was much, much warmer. My kids have been talking a lot about how they want to go back to “Cape Cod Beach,” so they must be feeling the cold, too.

Imperfect Happiness 
Thanks for the mention! I doubt anyone will blame you for not getting frostbite for the sake of this challenge. Besides, I don’t think when you took the photo matters so much as how it fits the theme, which you did well. You did a nice job at keeping interest throughout the foreground, middle ground, and background in all of your pictures.
